Why Autodots
A network of Tesla-specialist workshops, OEM-grade parts, and transparent pricing — without the dealer markup.
Every Tesla-specialist workshop on Autodots is verified — real reviews from real Tesla owners, not anonymous ratings.
Bosch, NGK, Castrol, Denso — same brands Tesla dealers use. You see the part brand and price on the estimate before any work starts.
Every Tesla service creates a tamper-proof digital record — the same warranty audit trail dealers create, accessible to you forever.
Common Tesla issues
Real-world Tesla faults we see across our network — diagnosed properly the first time, with a written estimate before any work starts.
Tesla 12V batteries fail unexpectedly around 3-4 years (lead-acid) or 5-7 years (lithium replacement). Replacing pre-failure prevents inability to enter the car.
Tesla rear/front drive units have transmission oil that needs replacement around 1,60,000 km. Most owners and workshops miss this — leading to drive-unit whine.
Tesla coolant (G-LV33) needs replacement every 5 years / 80,000 km. Skipping causes pump and chiller failures — replacement of cooling components is far costlier than fluid service.
Service intervals
Indicative pricing across Autodots-verified workshops. Costs vary by city and engine variant — your final estimate is always written and approved by you before work starts.
| Interval | What's done | Cost from |
|---|---|---|
| 20,000 km / 12 months | Tyre rotation, brake fluid measurement, cabin filter | ₹3,200 / $85 |
| 40,000 km / 24 months | Above + brake fluid (DOT 4 LV), AC desiccant bag | ₹6,800 / $180 |
| 80,000 km / 48 months | Above + battery coolant flush (G-LV33), full HV diagnostic | ₹12,500 / $330 |
| 1,60,000 km / major | Above + drive-unit oil change (front + rear), suspension check | ₹18,500 / $480 |
| Annual | 12V battery health scan, software-update verification, OTA-update validation | ₹2,800 / $75 |

FAQ
Yes — Magnuson-Moss (US) and Indian / EU consumer law protect your right to use any qualified workshop without voiding warranty. Autodots-verified Tesla workshops have HV-certified mechanics and Tesla diagnostic interface (Toolbox 3).
Tesla service is dramatically cheaper than ICE — annual checks ₹3,000-5,000, biennial brake fluid + cabin filter ₹6,000-8,000, every 4-year battery coolant flush ₹12,000-15,000. There is no engine oil, no spark plugs, no transmission service.
Yes — Tesla 12V batteries fail with little warning, locking you out of the car. Most owners replace at 3 years (lead-acid) or 5-6 years (lithium). Autodots Tesla specialists do this in 45 minutes.
The motor + reduction gear in each drive unit shares oil — Tesla recommends replacement around 1,60,000 km. Skipping causes drive-unit whine and eventual gearbox failure (₹3,00,000+ repair).
