What is DPF cleaning and when do I need it?

Diesel Particulate Filters trap soot and need regeneration. If forced regens fail, the DPF is clogged and needs cleaning ($300-800) or replacement ($1,500-3,500). Cleaning is dramatically cheaper if done before total clog.

Will any workshop work on heavy trucks?

No. Class 6-8 trucks need specific lifts, larger tools, and DEF / DPF expertise. Most car workshops can't handle them. We filter for the ones that do.
