What to look for in an ADAS shop
OEM-approved targets
Hella Gutmann, Bosch, Autel, Launch, Texa — proper calibration targets cost $5-30K and have to be re-certified yearly.
Climate-controlled bay
Static calibration requires a level floor, even lighting, and no reflections. Workshop garage doesn't cut it.
Printed calibration report
You should leave with a report showing pre- and post-calibration values. Insurance and warranty claims need it.
Same-day service
Most ADAS calibrations finish in 60-90 minutes. Combined with windshield or suspension job: 2-4 hours total.
