Terms of Service
Applies to the Autodots website, web platform, and mobile applications

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and Autodots. Please read them carefully. By creating an account, downloading our mobile app, or using any part of Autodots — on the web at https://autodots.ioor via any Autodots mobile application on iOS or Android (collectively, the "Platform" or "Services") — you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.
These Terms apply to both types of users on Autodots:
"Garage Partners" — garage owners, auto repair shops, and automotive service businesses that subscribe to Autodots to manage their operations.
"Customers" — individuals who use Autodots to search for, book, and pay for vehicle repair or maintenance services.
Where a provision applies to one type of user only, that is stated clearly. Otherwise all provisions apply to everyone.
1. About Autodots
Autodots is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform and marketplace that operates on the web and via mobile applications. Autodots provides garage management tools to Garage Partners and enables Customers to discover, book, and pay for vehicle repair services. Autodots operates from Rajkot, Gujarat, India.
Autodots is an intermediary marketplace technology platform. It is not itself a garage, mechanic, or vehicle repair service. All repair and maintenance services listed on the Platform are performed by independent Garage Partners who are solely responsible for their services.
2. Eligibility and Account Registration
You must be at least 18 years old to register an account on Autodots. By registering, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher.
- All information you provide during registration is accurate, complete, and current.
- You will keep your account information up to date.
- You have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or any entity you represent.
Garage Partners must complete identity and business verification (KYC — Know Your Customer) before accessing payment settlement features. Required documents may include a business registration certificate, tax identification number, government-issued photo ID, and bank account information. Autodots reserves the right to verify documents and reject applications at its sole discretion.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. Autodots is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to keep your credentials secure.
Autodots may refuse to create, or may suspend or terminate, any account at its sole discretion, with or without notice.
3. The Autodots Platform — Services Offered
3a. For Garage Partners — Platform Subscription Plans
Autodots offers subscription plans ("Platform Plans") that give Garage Partners access to tools including but not limited to: booking and appointment management, customer communication, digital invoicing, inventory tracking, reporting and analytics, and payment settlement.
Platform Plan subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle. All fees are non-refundable. No refund is provided for any unused portion of a subscription period for any reason, including voluntary cancellation, downgrade, or account termination.
Annual plans are charged as a single upfront payment for the full year. Annual plan fees are entirely non-refundable regardless of how much or how little of the term has been used.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. To stop renewal, you must cancel before the renewal date using the cancellation option in your account dashboard. Autodots does not issue refunds for renewed subscriptions that were not cancelled in time.
Autodots may change Platform Plan pricing at any time with 30 days' advance notice to existing subscribers delivered by email to the registered address. Continued use of the Platform after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
Downgrading from a higher plan to a lower plan takes effect at the start of the next billing period. Access to features of the higher plan continues until the end of the current paid period. No credit or partial refund is issued for a downgrade.
Free trials, if offered, automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled before the trial expires. No payment method is charged during the trial itself.
3b. For Garage Partners — Marketing Plans
Autodots may offer optional Marketing Plans that provide promotional visibility, credits, boosted listing features, or other marketing tools on the Platform.
Marketing Plan fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable.
Credits, impressions, boosts, or other promotional limits included in a Marketing Plan are allocated per billing month. Any unused credits or limits at the end of a billing month are forfeited. They do not roll over, accumulate, or carry forward to the next month.
Each new billing month starts with a fresh allocation as per the subscribed Marketing Plan. There is no compensation for unused allocation from prior months.
Autodots does not guarantee any specific marketing results including leads, bookings, click-throughs, or impressions from Marketing Plans.
3c. For Customers — Service Bookings
Autodots enables Customers to search for registered garages and book vehicle repair or maintenance appointments through the web platform and mobile applications.
When a Customer completes a booking and payment on Autodots, a Platform Service Fee is charged. This fee is displayed clearly at checkout before the Customer confirms payment.
The Platform Service Fee may be a fixed amount, a percentage of the service value, or a combination of both. The applicable fee is the one displayed at the time of checkout. Autodots may update this fee from time to time; any change applies to new bookings only.
Autodots is not a party to the service contract between the Customer and the Garage Partner. Autodots does not guarantee the quality, safety, timeliness, legality, or availability of any garage service.
Disputes about the quality of service rendered are between the Customer and the Garage Partner. Autodots may, at its sole discretion, assist in dispute resolution but is not obligated to do so.
Customers must ensure vehicle information (registration number, make, model, fuel type) provided at booking is accurate. Inaccurate information may result in the garage being unable to perform the service.
4. Mobile Application
Autodots provides iOS and Android mobile applications that offer all or part of the functionality available on the web platform. The following additional terms apply to your use of the mobile app:
- These Terms apply equally to your use of the Autodots mobile app as they do to the web platform. All rights, obligations, and restrictions described in these Terms apply to mobile app use.
- Autodots may release updates, bug fixes, or new versions of the mobile app from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of any updated terms accompanying that version.
- Push notifications: by installing the Autodots app, you may receive push notifications for booking confirmations, reminders, and platform communications. You can manage or disable push notifications at any time through your device settings. Disabling push notifications does not affect our ability to contact you via email or SMS.
- Location access:the mobile app may request access to your device's location to show nearby garages and pre-fill your booking location. Location access is optional and can be managed from your device's app permissions.
- Camera access: the mobile app may request camera access to allow you to upload photos (for example, photos of vehicle damage for a service request). Camera access is optional.
- App Store terms: your download and use of the Autodots mobile application is also subject to the terms of the app store from which you obtained it (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). In the event of a conflict between those terms and these Terms, these Terms govern your relationship with Autodots.
- Autodots is not responsible for any issues arising from app store policies, device compatibility, or operating system changes that affect app functionality.
5. Payments
5a. Payment Collection and Split Settlement
All payments for service bookings are collected by Autodots acting as the merchant of record through its integrated payment partners. Autodots collects the total amount from the Customer (service fee plus Platform Service Fee), retains its Platform Service Fee and applicable payment processing costs, and transfers the balance to the Garage Partner's registered bank account.
Settlement to Garage Partners is processed via Razorpay (for India) and Stripe (for international markets). Settlement timelines are governed by the payment gateway used and standard banking processing times, and typically range from 2 to 7 business days.
5b. Supported Currencies
Autodots supports billing in the following local currencies for Garage Partners and Customers in the corresponding countries:
- India — INR (Indian Rupee)
- United States — USD (US Dollar)
- Canada — CAD (Canadian Dollar)
- United Kingdom — GBP (British Pound)
- Australia — AUD (Australian Dollar)
- United Arab Emirates — AED (UAE Dirham)
- Saudi Arabia — SAR (Saudi Riyal)
- Germany — EUR (Euro)
- France — EUR (Euro)
- South Africa — ZAR (South African Rand)
- Brazil — BRL (Brazilian Real)
- Singapore — SGD (Singapore Dollar)
For all countries not listed above, transactions are processed in USD (US Dollar) by default. Autodots may expand local currency support at any time.
5c. Taxes
All fees quoted on the Platform are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Autodots will collect and remit applicable taxes — including GST in India, VAT in applicable EU and other countries, and sales tax in other jurisdictions — as required by law. Garage Partners are independently responsible for all taxes applicable to the services they provide to Customers.
5d. Payment Failures
If a Customer's payment fails during booking checkout, the booking will not be confirmed and no amount will be charged. Customers may retry with the same or a different payment method. If a Garage Partner's subscription payment fails, Autodots will notify the partner and may suspend access to paid features until payment is successfully processed.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
6a. Customer Booking — Cancelled by Garage Partner
If a Garage Partner cancels a confirmed booking for any reason, the Customer will receive a full refund of all amounts paid including the Platform Service Fee. Autodots will process this refund automatically. Refunds are returned to the original payment method and are subject to the payment provider's processing timeline.
6b. Customer Booking — Cancelled by Customer
Cancellation terms for bookings cancelled by a Customer are governed by the individual Garage Partner's cancellation policy, which is displayed on the garage listing page before a booking is made. Autodots does not set a universal cancellation policy for customer-initiated cancellations.
Autodots' Platform Service Fee, once a booking is confirmed and payment processed, is non-refundable in all circumstances where the Customer initiates the cancellation, regardless of the garage's cancellation policy.
6c. Platform Plan Subscriptions — No Refunds
All Platform Plan subscription fees — whether billed monthly or annually — are collected in advance and are entirely non-refundable. This applies without exception to:
- Voluntary cancellation by the Garage Partner at any time during the subscription term.
- Termination or suspension of the account by Autodots for any reason including breach of these Terms.
- Downgrade to a lower plan tier.
- Failure to use the platform or any feature during the subscription period.
- Dissatisfaction with the platform for any reason.
Upon cancellation, the subscription remains active and accessible until the end of the current paid billing period. After that, access to paid features will end.
6d. Marketing Plans — No Refunds, No Rollover
Marketing Plan fees are non-refundable. Credits, promotional capacity, boosts, or any other Marketing Plan benefit that is unused within a billing month is forfeited at the end of that month. Nothing carries forward to the next billing month.
6e. Termination by Autodots — No Refunds
If Autodots suspends or terminates a Garage Partner's account due to violation of these Terms, fraud, misrepresentation, failure to maintain KYC compliance, or any other breach, no refund will be issued for any remaining subscription period, whether monthly or annual. Autodots may also withhold pending settlements pending investigation of any potential violation or fraud.
7. User Conduct and Acceptable Use
By using Autodots, you agree not to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or ordinance in any jurisdiction.
- Provide false, misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive information at any time.
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any Autodots account, system, database, or network.
- Use automated tools — including bots, scrapers, spiders, crawlers, or scripts — to access, extract, or interact with the Platform without Autodots' express written permission.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of any Autodots software.
- Use the Platform to build or assist in building any product or service that competes with Autodots.
- Transmit spam, unsolicited marketing messages, malware, viruses, or any harmful code through or in connection with the Platform.
- Engage in any form of payment fraud, chargeback abuse, or financial manipulation.
- Post, upload, or share content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, threatening, or infringes any third-party rights.
- Use the Platform in a manner that disrupts, degrades, or impairs its availability or performance.
Violations of this section may result in immediate account suspension or termination without notice and without any refund obligation.
8. Content and Intellectual Property
8a. Autodots Intellectual Property
All software, algorithms, design, trademarks, logos, trade names, text, graphics, visual interfaces, and features of Autodots are owned by or licensed to Autodots and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership interest in Autodots' intellectual property.
You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, sell, create derivative works from, decompile, or reverse engineer any part of Autodots without prior written consent.
8b. Your Content
You retain ownership of content you submit to the Platform (such as your garage photos, service descriptions, reviews, and vehicle information). By submitting content, you grant Autodots a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, store, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform and marketing Autodots' services.
You represent that you have the rights to submit any content you provide and that such content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law. You are solely responsible for all content you submit.
9. Third-Party Services and Links
Autodots integrates and works with third-party services including payment processors (Razorpay and Stripe), cloud hosting providers, analytics tools, push notification services, and communication platforms. Your use of third-party services is subject to those parties' own terms and privacy policies. Autodots is not responsible for the practices, availability, or accuracy of any third-party service.
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites. Autodots does not endorse and is not responsible for the content or policies of any linked third-party website.
10. Confidentiality
Each party agrees to keep confidential any non-public information received from the other party that is identified as confidential or that, by its nature, should reasonably be treated as confidential. This obligation does not apply to information that: (a) is or becomes publicly known through no breach of this obligation; (b) was already known to the receiving party before disclosure; (c) is independently developed without use of confidential information; or (d) is required to be disclosed by law or court order.
11. Privacy
Autodots collects and processes personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at https://autodots.io/legal/privacy. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into and forms part of these Terms. By using Autodots you consent to the collection and use of data as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE AUTODOTS PLATFORM — INCLUDING THE WEBSITE AND MOBILE APPLICATIONS — IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. AUTODOTS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
AUTODOTS DOES NOT WARRANT THE QUALITY, SAFETY, LEGALITY, OR FITNESS FOR PURPOSE OF ANY GARAGE SERVICE BOOKED THROUGH THE PLATFORM. GARAGE PARTNERS ARE INDEPENDENT SERVICE PROVIDERS AND AUTODOTS MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS ABOUT THE STANDARD OF THEIR WORK.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AUTODOTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, OR PERSONAL INJURY.
AUTODOTS' TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY YOU TO AUTODOTS IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE CLAIM; OR (B) USD 100.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits Autodots' liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by Autodots' negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
14. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Autodots, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms; (b) any service you provide or fail to provide as a Garage Partner; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any content you submit to the Platform.
15. Term and Termination
These Terms remain in effect for as long as you use Autodots. Either party may terminate use of the Platform at any time.
Garage Partners may cancel their subscription at any time through the account dashboard. Cancellation ends renewal; the current paid period continues to its natural end.
Autodots may suspend or permanently terminate any account immediately and without notice for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, failure to pass or maintain KYC verification, or at Autodots' sole discretion.
Upon termination for any reason: your licence to use the Platform ends immediately; Autodots has no obligation to retain or return your data beyond what is required by law; no refund is issued for any remaining subscription period.
16. Modifications to These Terms
Autodots may update these Terms at any time. For changes that are material, Autodots will provide at least 30 days' advance notice by email to your registered address or by prominent in-app or in-platform notification. For minor or non-material changes, the updated Terms may take effect immediately upon posting.
Your continued use of Autodots after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to an update, you must stop using the Platform and cancel any active subscription.

17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
17a. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. If you access the Platform from another jurisdiction, you are responsible for compliance with local laws.
17b. Informal Resolution First
Before initiating any formal dispute process, you agree to contact Autodots at [email protected] and describe the dispute in detail. Both parties agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the matter informally within 30 days of the notice.
17c. Arbitration (India)
Any dispute not resolved informally shall be finally settled by binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (India). The arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator mutually appointed by the parties, or if the parties cannot agree, appointed by the courts of Rajkot. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Rajkot, Gujarat, India. The language of arbitration shall be English. The award shall be final and binding.
17d. Class Action Waiver
You agree that any dispute will be resolved on an individual basis and not as part of any class, collective, or representative proceeding. You waive any right to bring or participate in a class action or class arbitration.
17e. Jurisdiction for Court Matters
For matters that may be brought in court (such as applications for injunctive relief or enforcement of an arbitral award), you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rajkot, Gujarat, India.
17f. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this section affects statutory rights that cannot be excluded under the applicable consumer protection laws of your country of residence. EU consumers may refer disputes to the European Online Dispute Resolution Platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. UK consumers may contact the Citizens Advice Bureau or applicable ADR scheme.
18. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Autodots and supersede all prior agreements.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
- No Waiver: Autodots' failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
- Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without Autodots' prior written consent. Autodots may assign these Terms freely in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Force Majeure: Autodots is not liable for any failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, government action, internet outages, pandemics, or third-party service failures.
- Language: These Terms are written in English. Translations, if provided, are for convenience only. The English version controls.
- Notices: All legal notices to Autodots must be sent to [email protected] or by post to the registered address below. Autodots will send notices to your registered email address.
